The Woodlawn Vase
The Woodlawn Vase
The first trophy ever created by Tiffany & Co., the Woodlawn Vase was the catalyst of our nearly two centuries-long tradition of handcrafting the most revered symbols of athletic achievement. First crafted in 1858, the 91.44 cm tall, almost 13.60 kg sterling silver award is the second jewel in horse racing’s Triple Crown. The oldest continuously contested trophy in the United States, it is presented once each year to the winner of the Preakness Stakes in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Belmont Memorial Challenge Cup
In 1897, Tiffany was commissioned to design the Belmont Memorial Challenge Cup for the Belmont Stakes, the oldest of the Triple Crown events. The founding sires of the thoroughbred horse in America are portrayed on the base of the bowl.
