Each year in October at the Métiers d’Excellence awards, LVMH Möet Hennessy Louis Vuitton honours its most accomplished craftspeople across its portfolio of esteemed Maisons. These individuals exemplify the extraordinary savoir faire of LVMH. For the second year, Tiffany’s industry-leading artisans and technical experts will join those of LVMH Maisons, uniting Tiffany’s 186-year tradition of artisanal mastery with LVMH’s long-standing heritage of exceptional artisanship.


LVMH selected Tiffany & Co. to design the 2023 signature pin for this year’s event, which is awarded each year to about 75 virtuosos across the group’s many esteemed Maisons. The pin evokes Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock, designed with a turquoise body and a ruby eye intermingling with the Métiers d’Excellence insignia.


For the first time ever, Tiffany partnered with LVMH and the Métiers d’Excellence programme to create an exclusive trunk to celebrate the incredible craftsmanship behind the art of jewellery making. Along with the other trunks created for Métiers d’Excellence, they represent the full spectrum of LVMH brand categories, from jewellery and leather goods to ready-to-wear, watches and more. The trunks showcase iconic products alongside the tools and materials used to bring each exceptional creation to life.
